The Swiss Epic is one of the most demanding mountain bike stage races in the world. For five days, the athletes battled their way through the high-Alpine scenery of Graubünden, from the majestic peaks of the Engadin to the technically demanding singletrack trails around Davos Klosters.

Extreme terrain and maximum concentration

Die Swiss Epic ist kein gewöhnliches Bikerennen, sie ist eine physische und mentale Zerreissprobe. Jeder Tag verlangt den Teilnehmenden alles ab:

• Endless climbs: kilometres of steep ascents over loose scree, where your heart rate remains at breaking point for hours on end.

• Challenging downhills: sections with tangled roots, sharp hairpin bends and steep rocky stretches that demand the utmost precision even after hours of riding.

• Weather and altitude: changeable conditions in the mountains, ranging from scorching heat in the valleys to biting winds at over 2,500 metres above sea level.

Anyone who wants to cross the finish line here must learn to cope with exhaustion, block out the pain and pace themselves tactically at every stage.

The feeling on the trail: discipline, endurance and passion

For Jorge, this race was about far more than just a placing. It was personal proof of what is possible when you consistently pursue a clear vision:

The spark has been lit: off to Scuol!

This achievement inspires the whole team. The sporting ambition and passion for shared challenges are contagious.

That’s why the next event is already just around the corner: our entire team is competing in the annual National Park Bike Marathon in Scuol. Even though the route there isn’t quite as extreme as the Swiss Epic, it’s all about the same feeling: team spirit, healthy competition and having fun together on the trails.
